Project Goal
Cyprus Water department seeks a cure for corroded and badly damaged split case pumps. Pumps located at a main pumping station were suffering from extended corrosion and cavitation. Maintenance Engineers were looking to repair and protect them in order to extend their working life and most importantly to increase performance.

This is not the first set of pumps that we have repaired for this client and certainly not the last. As always, the procedure consisted of grit blasting to a white metal finish, followed by resurfacing all lost metal with our high-performance polymer composites. Finally, multiple coats of CeramAlloy CL+AC were applied in order to achieve long-lasting corrosion protection while enhancing the performance.
